Going Wild, The Wild Ones book 2, is as funny as I was hoping. I love a really good, light hearted, humorous read, and this books fits all of that criteria.

Going Wild is the story of Kylie and Liam, but most importantly all of the crazy families that live in Tomahawk and their whacked out antics also fill the pages of this story. Told in the dual POV of Kylie and Liam, this book is very low on angst as Liam tries his hardest to convince Kylie that he's now a permanent fixture in her life, she just has to give him that chance.

I love the quotes that are at the start of every chapter, they are so funny. I cannot decide which book I want to read the most - Hale or Killian's?? Although the sneak peak at the end of this book on the next book in the series, Wilder, with Kai and Piper had me smiling hard with just the few pages that were provided. This series is fast becoming my favourite from this author, I have really enjoyed reading both the books in the series so far.

How could this be anything but a five star read...
This book through all its hilarity was a touching read. Liam and Kylie were real people with real life issues. I love how the topic of family is explored and what that means. Of course this is done through a series of events that make you laugh until you pee yourself. Also with the over the top cast of characters there are some cringe worthy moments when you think OMG that has to hurt. Even if you put together the Hatfields/McCoys meet the Beverly Hillbillies/How to be a Redneck cast, I am not sure it would describe adequately the going-ons of this crew. SOOO FUNNY!!! It was a different kind of read due to relationship query happening near the beginning of the story. That was just another element that made this book very unique and such an enjoyable read. I can't wait for the next one... esp. since it had a cruel, yes I said cruel teaser at the end. It is cruel cause the rumor is that I have to wait until next year to read it... Boo Hoo - Why so long?!!!

Going Wild is the second book in the Wild Ones romantic comedy series. This book can be read as a complete standalone as it focuses on a new couple; Liam and Kylie. If you have read the previous book in the series you will have already met both characters however, at that time they were not yet a couple. In this book, you will learn how they met and then reconnected a year later.

Overall, I thought this was a good book and I was really happy to read Kylie and Liam's story. Kylie is a fun and feisty character who wears a coat of armor so that she doesn't get to close to someone romantically. Liam is quite the charmer and goes after what he wants no matter the price he may (or may not) have to pay. Their interactions were quite funny, and I love seeing Liam "become" a wild one. However, I didn't find this book as funny as Becoming a Vincent and was slightly disappointed because of it. I am a hardcore romantic comedy fan and love books that will make me roll on the floor laughing. This book didn't do it for me. There were funny moments of course, but I wish there were more.

In the end though, I did enjoy the book and would certainly continue reading the series. I do hope that the hijinks keep coming though as I love how C.M. Owens writes humor and brings these crazy characters to life. Even more, I hope she writes a ton more books for the series because the secondary characters are priceless!
The Wild Ones is becoming one of my favorite series, and its only two books in.
I have no idea were to start. I found myself laughing from the start. This one was so good that I can't pick only one part that was my favorite either. CM Owens has created a place that i find myself wanting to live, just so I can have the entertainment to see first hand.
The coming together of Kylie and Liam was perfect, as per usual for a CM Owens couple. They had this perfect chemistry for two people who come from different worlds. But, all it takes is a girl with her own kind of crazy that has him opening his eyes to a whole new world, and people that are real and genuine. One thing that I loved was how at the end of a chapter that was in Liam's POV he's just like "This is my (insert the day of the week)" And this was all after the Wild One's crazy would come out. Another reason I want to seriously move to Tomahawk.
All the characters that make up the rest of the Wild Ones are jsut perfect. You find yourself wanting more of them as well. And the town challenge is something that will have you shaking your head and laughing. Once I was able to get myself under control, I would then find myself in another fit of laughing. I can't wait for the next book so that i can get another Wild One fix, cause this series is becoming an addiction and CM Owens is my dealer.
On a separate note I want CM Owens to release a book of just the Wild Ones Tips, these tips were so crazy that they had me laughing on their own.
I want to live in this town. I want to go to a town meeting. The first book was so good, I bought the second the minute I finished it. Seriously loved Lilah & Benson in the first book, now we have Kylie & Liam and let's just say, I'm hooked. I want my own Wild One. I think I really liked heroes a little better in each book. Don't get me wrong, the ladies were great, quirky and funny, but the guys stole my heart with how accepting they were with all the craziness going on and how much they loved their women. In this book, Liam grew as a person, and he took a good look at his life and knew he wanted more than the shallow life he was living. It only took a near death experience and the help of a sweet woman to show him what he was missing. Lots of fun & laughter in this book. I will say that at the back of this book is a teaser for the next and I'm so excited, can't wait for Kai's book. Let the Wild Ones flag fly 🚩
