This was my first Elizabeth Hayley read and I absolutely adore them and their writing style! I'm very picky when it comes to third person writing but they nailed this! I will be reading more from them for sure. Misadventures with My Roommate was a fun and steamy read. I would definitely recommend reading the book if you want a quick spicy read.

I absolutely adore Blake and Gavin! Blake is like my spirit animal in the way that she has zero filter and I absolutely loved every minute of it with this character. She tells everything how it is and I for one am a person who can always appreciate that in any character. I loved the humor that was created in this book, especially Blake's humor because it was so quirky at times that it had me chuckling uncontrollably.

Gavin is definitely the level headed of the two and helps to level out Blake a bit, where as Blake definitely helps to bring out Gavin's fun side. Gavin finds himself opening up about his dreams of profession and Blake opens up about her darker past. Together these two help one another conquer fears or pursue dreams.

I absolutely loved this roommates to lovers romance! It's another Misadventures 5 star for me!

A cute, sexy and fun read. Blake pulls at your heartstrings some. You feel for her once she finally opens up. I love how caring Gavin is. He is swoon worthy for sure. Blake has her quirks and she doesn't care if she offends anyone. I love that she has no filter and that Gavin takes her as she is. Misadventures with My Roommate is another hit in my eyes within the Misadventures series.
I received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review and I loved the book so much I bought it. This is my first book by Elizabeth Hayley and it won’t be my last. Misadventures with My Roommate was a fun and sexy read. I found myself laughing out loud to all the quirky, emotional, and clever interaction between the characters. I found Blake quirky, outspoken, while Gavin was sweet, charming, and sexy I recommend this book to everyone!
Blake is one of a kind and Gavin seems to complete her lunacy. This book made me laugh with all the lines that come out of Blake’s mouth. Thanks Elizabeth Hayley for bringing these fun, unconventional characters to life on the pages.

I am new to the writing duo of Elizabeth Hayley, and I am definitely going to read more of their books!.I loved Misadventures with my Roommate! It was a fun, sweet, and sexy read. Laugh out Loud quirky, quick whited, emotionally thrilling, action packed romantic adventure filled with passion, understanding and heartwarming good times.

Blake Monroe is so not your average everyday anything.... she is quirky, outspoken, truthful to a fault and so unsure how to keep a relationship going. (or so she thinks) Gavin Gibson is sweet, charming, sexy and has an artistic soul that is not accepted by his family. He is also just the right kinda guy to slip under Blake's defenses and truly accept her as she is. (even adore her for her differences) They are so adorable and fun together and I also enjoyed their friends. Highly entertaining reading.
Misadventures with My Roommate makes me wish I gave half stars. I liked this novella quite a bit, but I just can't give it four stars. There was too much story untold, too much character development that just didn't happen because it was a novella and not a full-length book. I'm sad, too, because I really was into Blake and Gavin's story. I should probably be happy with the format, but I'm just not sure it did their story justice.

Blake was a bit of a tough nut to crack. It seemed almost like there was more under the surface than what was ever uncovered. I had a tough time deciding if she was totally sarcastic or if she really believed some of the things she said. She was a quirky character with zero filter and while that was refreshing at times, other times I felt like I was struggling to "get" her. Gavin was sweet and sexy and the perfect pairing for Blake. I thought his personality balanced hers nicely. Sparks flew between these two characters any time they were together and it was only a matter of time before they gave in. This novella did get a little heavier at one point, but I liked the added depth. I just wish there had been more time to explore it all.

Overall Misadventures with My Roommate was a good read. I enjoy Elizabeth Hayley's writing style and am intrigued by their characters. I just wish there had been more story! Oh, it's worth adding I listened to the audiobook for this one and I loved the narrators. Sarah McEwan and Jacob Morgan did a fantastic job reading this one.
